Inside MUNTHE SS27: Discover the Art Lover Collection
This season, we travelled to Copenhagen to experience the MUNTHE Spring/Summer 2027 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week. From the excitement outside the runway to discovering the collection in the showroom the following day, we had the chance to experience the new season from start to finish.
Experiencing the MUNTHE SS27 Fashion Show
The energy was already high before the show began, with fashion lovers, influencers, and guests gathering outside the venue. Inside, the runway was transformed into an artistic space, with painted pillars and large painted fabrics creating the feeling of an artist's studio.
The collection came to life on the runway through flowing dresses, layered looks, denim, knitwear, and painter-inspired workwear. The artistic setting perfectly reflected the inspiration behind MUNTHE SS27.
Art Lover: The MUNTHE Spring/Summer 2027 Collection
The new collection is called Art Lover and draws inspiration from working artists in the 1970s. MUNTHE explores the way artists combined practical workwear with more polished, office-inspired clothing.
This idea creates a beautiful contrast throughout the collection. Tailored pieces are mixed with relaxed workwear, while feminine skirts, lace, and delicate fabrics are balanced with denim and structured jackets.
Artistic details are everywhere, from embroidered knitwear and handwritten sketches to expressive prints and paint-inspired finishes.
MUNTHE also worked with Australian artist Judith Sinnamon, incorporating her artwork into beautiful silk prints for the collection.
One of our favourite pieces is a classic beige jacket featuring paint-inspired details and sequins, bringing a creative touch to an everyday wardrobe staple.
From Copenhagen to Gunnel's Fashion Marbella
The experience continued the following day when we visited the MUNTHE showroom in Copenhagen. Here, we were able to see the collection up close and select our favourite pieces for Gunnel's Fashion Marbella.
Seeing the collection both on the runway and in the showroom gave us a real insight into the ideas behind MUNTHE Spring/Summer 2027 and the creative process behind Art Lover.
