Une A Une was founded in 2012 by French designer Rachel Guérin. While living in the peaceful surf town of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, she created her very first piece of jewellery: a simple teardrop-shaped natural stone on a strong cotton cord.
Her idea was beautifully simple. She wanted to create jewellery that every woman could wear, regardless of her style or age. The first necklace quickly became a signature piece and remains one of the brand's most loved designs today.
The name Une A Une, which means "one by one" in French, reflects the way every piece is carefully handcrafted and assembled with care.
